How can I turn the advertising of my rental on/off?
Turning advertising off
If you’d like to stop advertising your rental on our site (whether just for a while or completely) you can do so via these steps.
- Select the rental in question by clicking on its name in the Properties section.
- In the now visible details of your rental got to More actions and select the Turn off advertising option.
- Confirm the action by clicking Turn off the advertisement.
Because your rental has already been activated by the Flatio team, the rental will be taken from Flatio’s site immediately.
Turning advertising on (once or repeatedly)
The steps necessary for turning advertising of your rental on is similar to turning it off (even if this is the first time you are turning advertising of your next rental on).
- Select the rental in question by clicking on its name in the Properties section.
- In the now visible details of your rental click the Turn on advertising button.
- Confirm the action by clicking Turn on the advertisement.
If your profile is still active, the change in the advertisement status of your rental should take effect immediately. If for whatever reason your account is no longer active, the request for turning advertising on will be first sent to the Flatio team which will both turn it on and activate your profile after reviewing your account.
NOTE: Newly added rentals need to be checked by the Flatio team first before their advertising can be turned on. Your rental might not appear on the Flatio site immediately since this process can take some time.
