Are rentals available on Flatio safe?

Yes, they are! When deciding which rental property to book, you can take into account the available reviews from real tenants that can be found in the landlords' profiles, or you can make your decision based on a virtual tour, which means that the place has been personally verified by the Flatio team.

The entire lease is covered by a uniform lease agreement, which is concluded directly between the tenant and the landlord and is balanced for both parties - both of you will have the same rights.

On Flatio, you even don't pay the first rent in advance to the landlord, who then may refuse to hand over the accommodation to you or stop communicating. The first rent is forwarded to the landlord only after confirmation of a smooth handover or automatically after 3 days from the start of the rental period (at this point we assume that no problem has occurred).

Likewise, if the rental property doesn't match the listing description at the time the reservation request was made, you have the option to withdraw from the agreement, with the right to a refund of the entire first rent and the service fee and a back-up accommodation.
