Hi, I'm Ellen, and I'll be your host. If you have any questions or difficulties concerning living (temporarily) in Portugal, you can come to me. I'll give you a tour around our little village so you'll feel at home right away. I live here for 23 years now, and feeling completely happy in Portugal, and specifically in Termas-da-Azenha. I'm making huge mosaics, design special bathrobes & kimonos, have chats & fun with the people that live here. I speak portugese, dutch, english and a little german. I'm 60 years old.

I love to make huge mosaics on the walls of this B&B. I like mosaic, it makes everything cheerful, and I have the ambition of decorating my own village in a very particular style. My own Gaudi-village. :) Since a few years I'm designing and making robes. I was looking for an extension of my B&B, and found it in another B - of bathrobes. Bathrobes, kimonos, housecoats - all good in 2020, when people are obliged to stay at home, and more and more to work from home.
Sweatpants are really comfortable but you want to have the feeling that you're still a well-dressed human being from time to time.
I like to read, and I like to write. Every week a blog about what's going on in Termas-da-Azenha.
We have 3 chickens (so: fresh eggs), and a small vegetable garden. During the season we have a lot of veggies to share.
I meditate every day.
And last, I'm a massage therapist. For 30 years already, and I could practice this besides the B&B / holidayrental business.
