Penthouse apartment in a handsome historic building that is quintessentially London where the City meets the West End. Available for short stays and long term extended stays. Refurbished in early 2019, this penthouse apartment (third floor walk up!) benefits from a regular housekeeping service and reasonably strong free wifi included in the rate.
This striking corner building dates back to 1676 when it was The Grecian Coffee House. It is tucked in between various barristers chambers and public gardens and is a couple minutes walk from the River Thames and just behind Fleet Street, famous for being the home of the capital’s newspaper industry. The imposing Royal Courts of Justice are around the corner and the nearest underground stations are Temple and Blackfriars although Covent Garden and the City are within easy walking distance.
There is a safe for confidential documents and a well equipped kitchen to prepare meals although we doubt you will need it since there are so many restaurants, good pubs and cafes on your doorstep. It is just minutes from the Strand and Covent Garden.With many of the City's best bars and restaurants nearby, guests will certainly not be bored or go hungry! This one bedroom property is on the third floor (no lift) and that the property is above a traditional British pub.Discounts available for longer term stays.
