Flat for rent - Prague 5

I am happy to offer you a unique historical and modern apartment in the heart of the city. The building is a historical one protected for its artistic importance- it is a Secession building. The location is great - overlooking (frontally) the Vltava river, very close to the Andel shopping center, and also very close to public transport (Metro, tram)

The flat is on the fourth floor, with A LOT of light, East-West orientation, without vis-a vis. Sunny, grandiose, with high classic ceilings. Fully equipped, decorated and furnished with highest standards in a nice mix of modern functional furniture and art nouveau antiques.

Large (30 m2,east-facing) living room with lovely views over the river. A great place to work and relax. A confortable sofa (which opens as double sofa-bed), flat screen TV & a chaise longe perfect to read, watch videos (DVD player and a selection of international titles), or just relax. A large professional Italian glass & wooden desk & chair bureau area with drawers overlooking the river allows professionals to work in a perfect atmosphere. Antique large storage cupboards and libraries add to the classic decor. Two large double east-facing french windows and no vis-a-vis make the living room very bright and confortable.

The bedroom (20 m2, East-facing) has also lovely front view of the river, unspoiled through a large double french window. Extra wide (King's size) bed with canopy, two wardrobes, matching night tables with drawers and a large comode with a big mirror, all in solid wood, assure in excess space for clothing rangement. Philippe Stark's bed-table lamps provide a touch of distinction. A reading couch near the window for those who read before going to bed, give the finishing touch to the large room

The spacious eating room (20 m2, west- facing) with table/chairs for 6 people) & Kitchen fully equipped with first line, modern appliances: vitro-ceramic hubs, large Dishwasher, electric oven, large-size fridge & freezer, microwave, and washing machine.

The bathroom (west-facing) features an italian shower, oversized mirror, and has a window towards the trees on the backyard, featuring art deco motif frosting for modesty.

The flat has a small storage area (6 m2), not suitable for bikes.

Heating and hot water are guaranteed by a new Vaillant gas boiler. All electrical wiring, water pipes, flooring and walls were recently renewed. Doors and windows are historical, and have been renovated to highest standards.

Apartment has O2 internet / wifi.
Located truly at the river bank with direct, unspoilt views.

Metro & Tram at about 3 minutes walking. All services available (including Andel shopping area, as well as convenience stores) at walking distance.
Saturday's fresh & farmer's market is 5 min walking, right across the river.

My name is Isabel and I live in Prague (as much as my work allows me). This flat is my 'old home' (I moved to another flat, but not far away) :-)

When I was younger, i was a tenant (also for about 12 years)... so I understand that both sides (tenant & landlords) have a lot of common priorities: good status of the property, uncomplicated contracts, clarity on the communication, and privacy.

Most of my rentals are made to executives or companies -- because of the location, high-end facilities & features of the flat, as well as its design, it fits to the lifestyle of singles and young couples.
