Flat for rent - São Vicente

Casa do Lanço is part of a vineyard property of about 25,000m2 and is located in a transition zone between the Laurissilva forest and the agricultural lands of São Vicente. On the terraces of the vineyard, we can see the Tinta Negra Mole and Verdelho grape varieties, these grape varieties that produce the famous Madeira Wine.

The property is in a group of houses with several hundred-year-old trees, with a large oak tree dating back over 250 years and several endemic Laurissilva species such as tis, vinháticos, barbusanos and laurels.

The house has a simple, country and functional decoration. The property features a double bedroom; a small room with sofa and a bathroom.

Inside the property you can enjoy a walk along the stream, the gardens or the backyard outside, which allows you to have breakfast (not included), made every morning by the home keeper.

During your stay you can participate in the process of viticulture or purchase the wines available in the house.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD OVERVIEW
The house is situated in the northern part of the island, more precisely in the Rosário, parish of the county of São Vicente. Because it is in a more secluded area, you will not find any kind of shops in the vicinity of the property. A ten minutes drive from the village of São Vicente, there you will find local shops, restaurants, supermarket and pharmacy.

In the vicinity of the house you have access to several trails and levadas, where you can enjoy walking and exploring on foot our fantastic island.

If you want to find other places or activities, the city of Funchal is 45 minutes away by car.

GETTING AROUND
We recommend the private transfer service as the best option to get to the house. Contact us in advance to schedule a private transfer car with our local partners. It is cheaper than taking a taxi by your own in the airport!

Guests have access to all areas of the flat.

We are always at your disposal to help or to answer your questions. You can contact us via our mobile numbers or by email. We will do our best to meet your requests.

OTHER OBSERVATIONS

● According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID. (E.g. passport, identity card).

● Check-in must be scheduled in advance. In case the check-in is not scheduled within a maximum of 48 hours prior arrival, guests will be subject to the availability of our team.

● All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also provide a crib, a baby high chair and a baby bathtub if needed. First aid kit, fire extinguisher and fire blanket are available in all properties.

● Cleaning services during the stay, as well as the replacement of bed linen, towels, and consumables, are carried out on a weekly basis. If you wish extra cleaning service this can be arranged at an extra, affordable charge. The weekly cleaning and the replacement of bed linen, towels, and consumables will not be carried out for stays of less than seven nights.

Once you send a reservation request, the landlord is notified that you are interested in his/her offer. From that moment, he/she has 24 hours to approve or reject your reservation.

What is the standard furnishing of flats?

Can I see the flat personally before signing?

Why would you waste time on personal apartment tours? Just use our virtual tour, which allows you to visit several flats in a just a few minutes, and you don't even have to leave your house.

How you can cancel a reservation varies depending on what stage the reservation is in.

Is your reservation request still waiting for landlord approval? Then you can simply cancel it directly from your My Housing web app!

However, if the owner has already approved your reservation request and you are no longer interested in it, only Flatio customer support can cancel it within 24 hours of approval. After this period, the reservation request can also be canceled by the owner.

Do you have an approved reservation and also a valid contract? In order to cancel your reservation for FREE, contact Flatio customer support well in advance of your contract beginning (the specific time depends on the type of cancellation policy).
