Flat for rent - Torremolinos

Our 'Colegio' studio in Torremolinos is located very close to the center, more or less 10 min walk from the train station which is located in the middle of all. Great way to come if you come from the airport. If you want to enjoy the beach 'El Bajondillo' - 'La Caracola' you have some stairs at the end of Danza Invisible street. No need to take the road and the walking time from the holiday home is around 20 min. If you arrive by car there is easy access to the high way and street parking in this area should not be difficult. Torremolinos offers the water park (Aqualand Torremolinos) 15 min. walk from the studio and it is located just beside the 'Crocodile Park'. Some shopping? Take a walk on San Miguel street (200m) In this area you will find many different kind of restaurants, night life etc. With the train you have a direct trip to the center of Malaga or if you want to visit Benalmadena, Fuengirola, etc it is the same train. The supermarket Supeco is close (250m) but there is a small supermarket just under the building. We highly recommend to take a walk to La Carihuela, just beside the beach and with small streets with good restaurants, shops, bars, etc. La Nogalera is just more or less 400m away from the holiday home.

The studio offers a sofa bed for 2 guests. You will find the bedlinen ready to be used when you arrive. The property has a full equipped kitchen, a shared pool, a shared rooftop terrace (there are chairs that you can bring up if you wish) The bathroom has a shower, there is a wash machine, air con which also can be used for heating. From the holiday home you have pool view and mountain & sea view from the rooftop. The studio is South faced and the rooftop terrace has 360º view. It is on the 6th floor.

I had a very nice stay in this studio. When it comes to being close to stores, restaurants, etc. it is well located. It is well ventilated and the view is pretty even though you can see the ocean from a distance. It has all they offer that is practically all that you need to live comfortably. I received and hand-over the kitchen appliances, sofa-bed, washing machine, lamps, TV, router, hair dryer in good condition. On the other side the bathroom is older and the shower, sink and toilet are a bit worn-out the same as the iron machine and some of the furniture on the living/dining room.
I think they can improve the cleanliness of the studio. When I received the studio it was not as clean as you expect, there was dust in furniture, closet, etc. and mold in the shower and toilet.
My experience with the Land owner:
First of all I congratulate them in relation to the answer on the emergency line. I called them few times, for simple issues, they always respond and gave me the solution immediately. I think this is important for a tenant.
Also, the person who take over the studio was very kind to let us left the keys 2 hours after the check out time (11 am). In my opinion I had a good reason for being delayed and I will explain why on the next paragraphs. In relation to administrative issues I didn´t have an adequate response on the following:
* I requested to extend my stay, they accepted it and gave me the prices and availability. The next day I accepted, however, the day after they notified me that they had rented the studio to someone else. This caused me great inconveniences since it was only 2 days before having to hand back the studio. I would have expected them to at least call me to ask me if I wanted to confirm the extension, and to respect that my request came first, but they unfortunately didn't do so. That was very inconvinient for me and left me very little time to arrange all to deliver the studio on time. So I end up delivering it 2 hours after the check-out time but surely I left the keys in a cleaner studio than the one I received..
* They never send me the handover certificate already filled in and signed even I requested it several times.
In general this is a study I recommend. taking into account to prevent administrative issues.
Neighborhood
It´s a residential neighbourhood where people are very kind and friendly. I felt secure walking even at night. Everything you need is at walking distance. Public transport is at walking distance and is very good. It´ll take you to furthest beaches, malls, cities, etc.
