Located on the first floor of the property, this room is simple but cosy. It includes four single beds, a chair and table, as well as a wardrobe and sofa.

Retreat Center and peaceful oasis for remote workers in the middle of a banana plantation, this 100 year old colonial style two-storey villa is located in Puerto de la Cruz, just far enough from the center for peace and quiet, but close enough (10min walk) for convenience and community.

The property is perfectly positioned to offer a clear view of the town and the ocean below, and spectacular Mount Teide above. Careful renovation has allowed the unique character of the house to shine through, while also benefiting from useful updates and modern amenities.

The ground floor features a variety of workshop, training, and therapy rooms as well as a living room, kitchen and two shared bathrooms. On the first floor a long corridor gives access to the 5 different bedrooms, two shared bathrooms and the main kitchen. There is also a big dining room with a beautiful view which can be used for coworking.

On the last floor, the spacious rooftop terrace with its beautiful view is perfect to work, practice sport, meditate or just chill. There are also some beautiful spaces outside, flowers and quiet gardens.

This is a very pleasant place, quiet and peaceful with an amazing view of the ocean and Mount Teide. It’s also a great place to connect with a mindful and open minded community, interested in self-development and authentic connections.

All the activities organized in this Stay (yoga, meditation, belly dance etc.) are linked to the mood of the place : between nature and spirituality, well being and sharing.

Tenerife is a paradise for nature lovers. Even though it is a small island, because of its special environmental conditions, it’s a home to a great ecological diversity. The abundance of microclimates, thus rich and varied flora (including around 200 plant species which are endemic to the Canary Islands) makes Tenerife a place to be.

The fauna of the island is also highly interesting, with many endemic invertebrates and unique reptile, bird, and mammal species. The fauna of Tenerife includes some 400 species of fish, 56 birds, 5 reptiles, 2 amphibians, 13 land mammals, and several thousand invertebrates, along with several species of marine turtles, whales, and dolphins. Altogether, the island provides ideal conditions for a close to nature healthy life.

What Tenerife is also known for is the beautiful El Teide National Park and El Teide itself - dormant volcano which can be seen from nearly everywhere on the island.

Social ecosystem
Tenerife is not only a vibrant, sunny and eternal spring island, but it’s also becoming a very popular spot for digital nomads and remote workers. Coworking and coliving places are popping up so you can be sure, if that’s what you look for, you will be able to connect with many fellow digital nomads.

In Puerto de la Cruz (20 min walk from the accommodation to the center) you can find multiple shops, bars and restaurants. Despite its quite modern character, the fishing dock remained just as it used to be, welcoming the small fishing boats early in the morning with their fresh catches. The pleasure of sitting peacefully in Plaza del Charco is sublime. And an ice cream in one of the many parlours around it is a truly refreshing treat.

Puerto de la Cruz has been considered a National Tourist Interest Site since 1955 because of its tradition as a centre for rest and recuperation and as a holiday destination. Its fascinating and beautifully kept historic quarter, with over 140 protected buildings, is a pleasure for everyone who strolls through it – tourists and locals – at any time of year. Puerto de la Cruz has the most restaurants and shops on the Island, so there are endless options for eating out and indulging in a bit of retail therapy.

From the South Airport
by bus: direct bus to Puerto de la Cruz is 343 (€13,55)
You can also catch the number 111 to Santa Cruz (this bus runs every 30 mins from the south airport). Then catch the number 102 from Santa Cruz to Puerto "bus station".
From there a taxi will take you to the accommodation for approx €4-5

From the North Airport
by bus: take a bus bus line 30 or 343 (40 min, around €5)

My Scandinavian parents brought me to Tenerife in 1949. I was 8 months old. Lucky me, I spent my childhood here in idyllic Puerto de la Cruz.

In the 70s, with my soulmate, we lived intensely between Scandinavia, Canaries, London and California; reading, learning and meeting people. In the 80s we became farmers, raising our two sons, cows, and sheep.

In the 90s we came back and opened a spiritual bookstore, with an aim, provide what is necessary to all those who seek a fulfilling and happy life. “Soluciones” thrived with books, crystals, therapies, workshops and events. It also gave us the opportunity to travel, attend seminars and bring crystals and meaningful gifts to our island.

Today, 30 years later, circumstances and people align, and the allure of this wonderful place once again guides me to another project, a Retreat center, with the same purpose, a meeting place to grow inwardly.
