Services are good. Booking a new place during the busy time of the season has proved a bit difficult. Multiple attempts to book that ended up canceled through non response of the landlord and outright rejections. The coupon was a nice gesture, but I couldn’t make use of it due to the cancellations. After trying to use the coupon again on another booking, after being previously canceled, I was informed that the coupon no longer was valid. It was basically wasted on a canceled booking attempt. In the end I had to go with Airbnb as I know that more often then not, if it’s showing on their system then it’s available. Cancellations do happen on Airbnb, but my experience tells me that this is a rare occurrence. I hope that helps.

Casa Luisa is a great place to stay for exploring the Ponta Do Sol area and experience the real Madeira and its amazing Levada-inspired agrarian infrastructure and lifestyle. The view of the atlantic ocean crashing on the rocks below and along the coast can be awe-inspiring when the swells roll in from the west. The dramatic steep location makes the visit challenging if you are unfit but if you enjoy good exercise and an amazing and friendly culture, this is the place for you!
