This was such a great way to stay in Funchal. The apartment is a great location for accessing the city center, grocery and public transit. Plus, the inside is nicely spacious, very livable (great cooking amenities!) and the AC in the summer is a blessing. The internet was strong enough for most things, but I found my work conference calls could only be taken close to the router. My only complaint is the trash situation; having to coordinate when to drop it off was a little frustrating. But nonetheless I’d stay here again without question!

It was the perfect place to stay, providing the comforts of home – a cozy bedroom, an inviting living area with a balcony, and a well-stocked kitchen. I also appreciated that the second bedroom had a desk since I work remotely. It’s conveniently located near the metro, shops, and major tourist areas, but far enough to make me feel like a local.

Inês is an outstanding host. She made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived, like I was connecting with an old friend. Her hospitality and warmth made my stay even more memorable. I highly recommend this apartment :)

During the whole stay I felt like I was home.

Amazing! close to plaza de espanol, so you are really in the center
many bus stops 3 min to alcaravenras 10 min to lascanteras and actually all you need is a 10 min walk
Accommodation__
be prepared for stairs like everywhere when you want to stay in the centre :)
excellent internet coverage
the room is a bit smaller but it has everything you need
it is facing the inner block so it is quite quiet and not hot
the roof is wonderful especially in the evening
you have a view of the surrounding city
overall opinion__

you will meet great and helpful people, you will live in the city centre, with great views and with the beach a stone's throw from the house

The flat looks exactly like in the pictures. The apartment is located in the very center of the city and is equipped with everything that you need for an extended stay, like cooking appliances, washing machine, etc. The landlord was super nice and very easy to communicate with and they were available whenever we had any issues or requests. Would definitely recommend it to anyone and we will try to rebook it the next time we are in need for an apartment for an extended stay!
