Casa Azul da Gala Mar -um pé no mar outro na serra
Rated on: 24.08.2026 Length of stay: month
Manuel and Cidália were the most gracious, welcoming and conscientious hosts. They welcomed us warmly and made sure our stay was comfortable from the day we arrived until the day we left. They showed us how to get around and were constantly suggesting cool activities and places to check out.
They were always willing to lend a hand and went out of their way to help our family on a number of occasions. We are blessed to have met them.
Their home has everything you'd need for your stay, especially if you enjoy a quiet but quick access to the beach. I can't praise the beach access enough: it's not touristy, so the beach is never overcrowded and the evenings are quiet.
There are cafés, grocery stores and local butchers nearby. The bus stop is 2 min walk away. The locals we've met were always friendly. It's an excellent get-away for those looking for quiet space by the beach and excellent hosting and support from the owners.
We're looking forward to coming back!
Neighborhood
Quiet, tranquil, friendly. You don't hear sirens; you don't have to avoid rubbish or dog poo in the streets or seagulls trying to snatch your food. Peaceful and welcoming.
