About me

Hi, I'm Leon — originally from South Africa, with five years in the UK before settling in Nazaré, Portugal, where I now live full-time.
I run CasaConecta, a small, hands-on property management company built around one simple idea: guests deserve a manager who's actually present, not just a name on a booking platform.

With over 30 years of operations and senior management experience, I bring the same attention to detail to every property I manage — fast responses, clear communication, and making sure your stay is comfortable from day one. I personally handle check-ins, maintenance, and anything you need while you're here, so you're never dealing with a call centre or a stranger.

I love this town and I'm happy to share local tips, good restaurants, and the best beaches once you arrive. Looking forward to hosting you!

We were very hesitant renting a place prior to our arrival due to scam culture running wild now-a-days but Leon went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable doing so. He scheduled a video call with us and took us on a full virtual walking tour of the area and apartment. By the end of the tour we confident this was the right choice for us. He made our landing so smooth by meetings us at the apartment on arrival, helping us bring our things in, and even doing a grocery shop so we would have essentials for the first few days. Throughout our two months there we became good friends with Leon and Amanda which was an added bonus when you relocate to new place.
