Really love Attila's home. It's in an old, well maintained classically European apartment block on a quiet street... but central to everything. Apartment is superbly equipped for long stays, with everything you need for full cooking, laundry etc. Beautiful high ceilings. Really can't stress enough how nice a space it is to simply be. Only small things that aren't really a problem for us - lack of a TV (go outside), bed is a little firm and small for some tastes. Attila himself is a fantastic host, very responsive and flexible and full of great recommendations in the local area. Will definitely be looking to see if his place is available again upon return to Budapest.
Neighborhood
Central to everything, but away from areas that feel really touristy. Many supermarkets, bars, cafes and restaurants nearby. Super convenient for both the tram and the metro. A great base to quickly get anywhere in Budapest.

The area around Lőrinc Pap tér square, 5 mins walk from the apartment. A nice, chill area with lots of little coffee shops, bars and restaurants and places to sit outside.
