Pedro was a great landlord. I never met him but he was communicative and he always made sure problems or issues were fixed. I liked the location of the apartment. It's in the center and it's close to the tourist spots. I lived here for a year and I have no regrets. The bathroom is tiny but it was okay for me since I lived alone and I'm also a small person. The bedroom was cozy and the living room was spacious enough for me. I would have stayed longer if it wasn't already booked after my contract.

Neighborhood
It's close to Portas do Sol and Sao Jorge Castle. There are many shops around the building and the tram stop is just a minute walk away.

I love the Salsa Restaurant and Aura Dimsum on Escolas Gerais.

Pedro is a very chill landlord and he is very reactive to the requests and messages. The contact was always good and easy.

Neighborhood
A super safe and quiet neighbourhood, frequented by tourists but where locals still live. Alfama is very charming and close to the river and the very center of the city, which makes it a convenient place to stay. There are a lot of small shops in the neighbourhood but real supermarkets tend to be a bit far.

Recommended places nearby
In terms of restaurants, try Alfama Cellar and A Muralha Tasca Tipica Lisboa (the bifa is excellent). You can have a good ice cream at Gelato Davvero. The neighbourhood lacks nice cafes and bars though.
