Flat for rent - Nea Artaki

Gorgeous, cosy, and stylish modern apartment located in a quiet residential building in Nea Artaki on the island of Evia in Greece. The 2 bedroom (80sqm) apartment is on the 3rd floor of the building with good size elevator (by Greek standards) and has uninterrupted sea and mountain views. The apartment is equipped with all the modern conveniences including 5G wifi, induction stove top, oven, dishwasher, washing machine, clothes dryer, whirlpool spa bath, walk-in shower, Smart TV, Apple TV, dehumidifer. Ideal nomad location for those needing tranquility yet easy access to a cosmopolitan European city, nature and cultural landmarks. Features two outdoor spaces - one larger completely private terrace gets afternoon sun & magnificent sunsets with 2 sun lounges and a small outdoor lounge area plus room for yoga while the back balcony is smaller with plenty of morning light with a view pine & willow of trees.

Drive directly to the island from the Athens airport in 70 minutes. Evia is a great base for adventures with easy access to Athens (45 minutes) and convenient to explore this gem of an island and other main archaeological or skiing sites in Central Greece. Youtube has plenty of drone footage of the area and there are some fabulous websites & apps to support your adventure planning.

Live like a local. Evia is a working island not too touristy and Chalkida (15 mins drive from Nea Artaki) has access to all the main delights and services of a big city without too much traffic. Head to the local farmers market every Thursday, fresh fish delivered to your doorstep, watch dolphins right outside the apartment in March. Drive up to Steni village for Sunday lunch or go to the Thermal springs in Edipso. There’s much to explore and enjoy.

Plush rugs are laid in winter with electric blankets (if needed) & thick duvets on premium custom made beds.

Get plenty of sun throughout the year and sunbathing is still possible in Autumn & spring plus swimming, SUP boarding or fishing, right outside the apartment block as well as along any of cove beaches in the neighbourhood. Or relax looking at views sipping a warm rakomelo with complimentary season mezes at a little local bar/cafe 5 minutes walk from your accommodation.

Possible use of a small hybrid car available at the airport. Feel free to ask this will be under a separate arrangement.

Its availability is only through Autumn, Winter and Spring at a special monthly price. But don’t let the cooler seasons stop you. Greece and this property is lovely & warm all year round in fact the sunsets are even more magnificent in the cooler months with sunny days and snowcapped mountains in the distance. The view is inspiring in every way particularly for writers, artists and programmers.

I’m happy to introduce you to local services and guide you through the best experience possible. Whether you want a good gym, physio, masseur, places to shop, restaurants, sightseeing, local food, shopping and cultural activities. The area is rich in history and local produce. Generally, a car is essential for the best experience in Greece & the island of Evia is no exception. Driving around the island is relatively easy and the use of a compact hybrid car is negotiable, so again feel free to ask.
