Casas do Poente is a property made up of 3 houses, ours and 2 other independent houses. Casinha da Cabra and Casinha do Burro, each with their own private patio and terrace.

Casinha da Cabra (40m2) has 1 bedroom with double bed, a living/dining room with kitchenette and stove, bathroom and a beautiful patio. The terrace has views of the countryside, the sea and the sky.
We are quiet and value our privacy and the privacy of our guests. We are a family of 4 people, 2 humans and 2 dogs.
There is a common entrance through a white gate to a small garden with small fruit trees, a small vegetable garden and an outside shower.
Casas do Poente is located in a quiet and isolated area of ​​the village, in a closed square that gives the street a feeling of peace and privacy.

Casinha da Cabra consists of 1 bedroom with double bed, 1 living/dining room with equipped kitchenette, wood burning stove, 1 bathroom, a wonderful private patio - perfect for meals outside. The terrace overlooks the countryside and the sea, after the sun sets you can admire the magnificent night sky.
Casas do Poente values ​​a minimalist and environmentally friendly approach when it comes to amenities: solar panels were installed to heat the water and ecological materials were used to rebuild the houses.

At Casas do Poente we use 100% renewable energy. The drive to use 100% renewable energy for electricity and heating is driven by climate change, pollution and other environmental issues.

The house has central heating (underfloor heating) and a wood-burning stove, with lots of firewood, which provides fantastic comfort on cold winter days. The house also has high-speed Wi-Fi for digital nomads.

You will also have 4 recycling containers at home - for plastic, glass, paper and organics. This is one of the easiest ways to combat global warming, as it avoids generating more pollution, so it is a positive attitude. Let's reduce our carbon footprint whenever we can!The house does not have a television or air conditioning.

We are inspired by the principles of REGENERATIVE TOURISM and hope to learn from and contribute to a more regenerative way of traveling, so that visitors, when exploring a new place, can have a more positive impact on their destination, satisfying the primary needs of the community and the quality of life of the local population...

Somos privados e respeitamos também a privacidade dos nossos hóspedes. Já abrimos o nosso espaço há quase 3 anos e já tínhamos experiencia anterior. Gostamos muito de receber pessoas nas Casas do Poente e trabalhámos muito neste projeto para criar duas casas confortáveis, funcionais, acolhedoras, privadas e extremamente cosy no inverno ( a Casinha da Cabra tem aquecimento no chão e também uma salamandra)
