Welcome to Ashcombe Lodge, a spacious and beautifully presented five-bedroom detached home in High Salvington, Worthing, West Sussex. Approximately 2,000 sq ft of accommodation, three spacious, separate lounges and a landscaped private garden give guests room to spend time together while also enjoying their own space.
Five double bedrooms contain six double beds, sleeping up to 12 guests where sharing is suitable. The house has three bathrooms, generous entertainment and working facilities, an outdoor gazebo area and parking for six vehicles. Fully furnished and equipped for everyday living, it is a comfortable base for an extended stay in Sussex. Initially offered for whole-property stays of 28 nights or longer.

THREE SPACIOUS, SEPARATE LOUNGES
One of Ashcombe Lodge’s standout features is its generous downstairs living space. With three separate lounges, guests can enjoy time together without everyone needing to use the same room. Families with different routines, colleagues on different shifts and guests working remotely can relax or work independently.
The main lounge offers generous seating and a 75” TV for films, live sport and favourite programmes. The open-plan kitchen and living space makes it easy to cook, chat and spend time together.
The separate snug provides another comfortable place to relax, together with a dedicated dual-screen workstation for anyone who needs to work during their stay.
The third lounge is the garden-facing dining, games and entertainment room. Large bi-fold doors open onto the landscaped garden, connecting the indoor entertaining areas with the outside space.
GAMES AND ENTERTAINMENT
Enjoy a game on the stylish 6-ft pool table, a match at table tennis or a game of darts. There is also a piano for guests who enjoy playing, while Xbox Cloud Gaming provides another entertainment option.
With several living areas and televisions throughout the house, guests have plenty of choice for relaxed evenings at home during a longer stay.
FIVE DOUBLE BEDROOMS — SIX DOUBLE BEDS — SLEEPS 12
Four bedrooms each contain one double bed, while one bedroom contains two double beds. There are five bedrooms and six proper double beds in total, with no sofa beds. The house can accommodate five colleagues in separate bedrooms, or up to 12 guests where double-bed sharing is suitable. Please check that this sleeping arrangement suits your group.
Two bedrooms are on the ground floor, in different parts of the house, providing extra separation and an option for guests who would prefer to avoid stairs. Three bedrooms are upstairs and are accessed by stairs.
Every bedroom has its own 50”+ QLED TV and sound system, with Sky Sports, Sky Cinema and Netflix Premium. The master bedroom has a 55” TV, while the bedroom with two double beds features a ceiling-mounted television. Sky Ultimate, UHD/Atmos, Disney+ and discovery+ are also available at the property. Some bedrooms provide additional workspace facilities.
BATHROOMS AND EVERYDAY COMFORT
The house has three bathrooms, with twin vanity basins in the larger bathroom. Bath and shower facilities support comfortable everyday living for families and colleagues sharing an extended stay.
Bed linen, towels, laundry facilities, furniture and equipment are provided so guests can settle into a normal routine. Cleaning and linen-change arrangements can be discussed before booking.
OPEN-PLAN LIVING, DINING AND KITCHEN
The open-plan living and dining areas provide space to share meals and spend time together. The dining table seats 12 guests, while skylights and garden views make the rear entertaining space bright and welcoming.
The modern kitchen is fully equipped for longer stays, with cooking appliances, cookware, crockery and self-catering facilities for everyday meals. A 55” kitchen TV provides another place to enjoy entertainment. A washing machine is available for guest use.
WORKING AND CONNECTIVITY
Sky Full Fibre 900 broadband and Wi-Fi help guests stay connected during a longer stay. A dedicated dual-screen workstation, additional workspace and workspace facilities in some bedrooms offer flexibility for remote working, keeping in touch with the office or planning time in Sussex.
Three separate lounges mean one guest can work while others relax elsewhere in the house.
LANDSCAPED PRIVATE GARDEN AND OUTDOOR GAZEBO
The landscaped garden provides a place to relax outdoors. Wide bi-fold doors connect the garden with the rear dining and entertaining areas, making it easy to move between the house and outside space. The outdoor gazebo offers another area for guests to spend time together.
PARKING AND PRACTICAL DETAILS
There is parking for six vehicles: four on the private driveway and two directly outside the property. Please keep neighbouring driveways and access routes clear.
The house is fully furnished and equipped for extended stays. External security cameras monitor the front driveway and rear entrance; there are no indoor cameras.
HIGH SALVINGTON, WORTHING AND WEST SUSSEX
Ashcombe Lodge is in High Salvington, Worthing, BN13 3DZ, offering a residential setting within reach of the town, coast and South Downs. Worthing beach and seafront are approximately 10 minutes away by car.
Convenient access to the A27 and A24 supports travel across Sussex, including Brighton and Chichester, with routes towards Gatwick Airport and onward travel to London. The location works well for corporate assignments, relocation, insurance accommodation and project work across the South Coast.
GUEST ACCESS
Guests have private use of the whole house, including all five bedrooms, the three separate lounges, kitchen, bathroom facilities and landscaped garden. The pool table, table tennis, darts, piano, televisions, bedroom entertainment systems, Wi-Fi, workstation and washing machine are available for guest use.
Two bedrooms are on the ground floor. The three upstairs bedrooms are accessed by stairs, and the house does not have a lift. Please discuss any specific mobility or accessibility requirements before booking so individual suitability can be checked.

Ashcombe Lodge is in a residential neighbourhood. Parties and events are not permitted. Please respect the neighbours and keep noise considerate, particularly in the evening. Smoking is not permitted indoors.

Initially offered for whole-property stays of 28 nights or longer. Please share your required dates, guest numbers and any specific requirements. The owner manages the property directly and can discuss suitable corporate, relocation, insurance, family and crew stays, including cleaning and linen arrangements.

How you can cancel a booking varies depending on what stage the booking is in.
Is your booking request still waiting for host approval? Then you can simply cancel it directly from your My Housing web app!
However, suppose the owner has already approved your booking request, and you are no longer interested in it. In that case, you can still cancel the booking before you sign the lease agreement. Just consider that you should do this only in essential cases. Because when the host accepts your booking, the property is stopped being advertised, and they can lose the chance to rent their property to someone else.
