Whether you are travelling as a couple, staying with your young family or enjoying a change of scenery, Jacobin Dove offers a comfortable balance between privacy, outdoor living and easy access to the city.
The space
Large windows bring natural light into the house and connect the living spaces with the surrounding greenery. Neutral tones, wood and touches of colour create a relaxed atmosphere, with distinctive details inspired by the Jacobin Dove.
The spacious bedroom includes a comfortable bed, 100% cotton bed linen, blackout curtains and built-in wardrobes, so you can unpack and settle in properly. Cotton towels are also provided.
The living room combines a comfortable lounge with a dining area for everyday meals. A small sofa bed offers additional sleeping space for children, subject to the occupancy limits below.
The fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker and cooking essentials, making home-cooked meals an easy part of your stay.
The bathroom features colourful tiles, thoughtful finishes and a spacious shower.
Outside, your covered porch is an inviting place for breakfast, a quiet read or a relaxed evening overlooking the garden.
Outdoor living
The gardens are shared with the other Dovecote Houses and offer outdoor seating areas where you can relax throughout the day.
Enjoy sunny afternoons beside the wind-sheltered swimming pool, with sun loungers and seating, or prepare a meal on the shared barbecue. Private parking within the enclosed property makes coming and going convenient.
Guest access
You will have exclusive access to your house and its covered porch. The garden, swimming pool, barbecue, outdoor seating areas and private car park are shared with guests staying in the other four houses.
The thoughtfully arranged grounds provide space to enjoy the communal areas while preserving the privacy of each home. Beaches, Viana do Castelo and essential services are within easy reach.
Other things to note
Jacobin Dove is ideal for two adults. The sofa bed is small and suitable for children only.
Maximum occupancy is either:

Two adults and two children aged 6 or under.

If the conditions for the withdrawal are met and the host can't fix the issue immediately, you have the option to withdraw from the lease agreement with a full refund. We'll also actively help you find an alternative accommodation and remain by your side until everything is fully resolved.

How you can cancel a booking varies depending on what stage the booking is in.
Is your booking request still waiting for host approval? Then you can simply cancel it directly from your My Housing web app!
However, suppose the owner has already approved your booking request, and you are no longer interested in it. In that case, you can still cancel the booking before you sign the lease agreement. Just consider that you should do this only in essential cases. Because when the host accepts your booking, the property is stopped being advertised, and they can lose the chance to rent their property to someone else.

If you cancel your booking up to 14 days before the move-in date, you’ll get a refund of half of the first rent.
If you cancel your booking less than 13 days before the move-in date, you won’t get a refund of the first rent.
The service fee is always refundable.
If you send a message to Flatio's Support Team requesting cancelation of the booking ("termination from the start date") within 48 hours after the lease agreement becomes valid, you're entitled to get back all the money you paid for the service fee.
After 48 hours, you're entitled to a refund of the service fee in the form of a "voucher" equal to the amount of the service fee you paid. The voucher can be used for your next booking and is valid for 12 months. If the service fee for your next booking is lower than the voucher amount, we'll issue you a new voucher for the remaining amount, valid for 12 months.
