Cash is not a standard payment method on Flatio. We provide you with multiple secure online payment methods (credit/debit card or bank transfer), and we strongly recommend using them for every payment. They are safer and ensure your payments are correctly recorded in the system.
Only in rare emergency situations, where you are temporarily unable to use any online payment method, it may be possible to pay rent in cash directly to the host as an absolute last resort. In such a case, you must inform our support team before making the payment so that it can be correctly marked as paid in the system.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Cash payments are never allowed for the first rent, which must always be fully paid online before your move-in. Otherwise, your lease agreement isn't valid and the host doesn't have to accommodate you.
