Hi! Thank you for taking time to check our listing. My name is Sheri and I am a Canadian who retired to Portugal in 2020 with my Portuguese/Canadian husband. We purchased this adorable home in Portimão, in the heart of the western Algarve, in order to share the beauty, rich culture and amazing weather of Portugal with others. In the years prior to life in Portugal, I worked in healthcare, business development, and dabbled in e-commerce with an online store featuring paddle boards and rash guards. During this time, I also spent several years working remotely (frequently from our beautiful forested backyard on Vancouver Island) and came to greatly appreciate the opportunity to work in a fascinating location. I stayed in many short-term rentals while travelling during these years, and therefore come to this new venture with a client's perspective.

I love the ocean and enjoy scuba diving and snorkeling, although I don't get to do it often enough! I hope to take sailing lessons sometime in the near future but for now I love following the adventures of several sailing families on YouTube.
