Hello there!

I am a Canadian national, and owner of the listed property on the beautiful Madeira Island, located on a road in countryside setting, in upper Arco da Calheta, short drive to Ponta da Sol, the digital nomads hub, and to the Calheta beach.

I acquired it since I love the island, nature and the local people and culture. Hint .. My wife is Portuguese, and I proposed to her on this very Island, long ago!

A local team of professionals a personal friends will address all needs or emergencies, and I will also always be available as well.

Being a music lover of all genres, from pop to blues, jazz and classical, I felt that my place would be a haven for musicians, and placed a quality Kawai electric piano in it, and even left some challenging piano scores there!🙂

After gaining my master degree in philosophy, specializing in the philosophy of mathematics, and writing a published paper about Bertrand Russell, I bowed out if academia... Ran a few businesses... Was granted a few patents and utilized them... and now I am relaxing with my two rescue dogs: one from an Inuit community (a white Siberian husky) and one from Jordan (a white Bedouin desert dog). In the past 3 years I have served as a remote adviser and counsel to a large dog shelter in Jordan. Alas, my small place and its furnishing cannot accommodate pets... My apologies!

More importantly, the place is super strictly no smoking, vaping, etc. zone. Please do respect and abide most strictly. If you are a smoker, it is advisable, therefore, not to rent this place.
