We had a great stay at Eduardo's flat. Eduardo was incredibly helpful and communicative before, during and after our stay, which made us feel very welcome! He provided a house guide, and even arranged for a hairdryer to be dropped off when we needed one. The flat is in a lovely old building and well connected by bus and tram to the rest of Lisbon. The kitchen and bathroom are chilly in winter, but the living room and bedrooms have heaters and can be warmed up and made cosy very quickly. Campolide is directly in the flight path, so one does hear a lot of planes during the day, but one gets used to it. Overall a great place to stay in Lisbon.
Neighborhood
Cute residential neighbourhood with traditional restaurants, plenty of supermarkets and other services. No nightlife. It is in the airport flight path.

A Ginginha - traditional place offering petiscos, try their garlic shrimp. A Valenciana - churrascaria with delicious rotisserie chicken to eat in or take away.
