This is the total amount of the deposit to be paid by the start of the lease (usually the move-in day).
The required amount can be even zero!
In fact, Flatio hosts CANNOT require a deposit for
stays of less than 180 days (6 months). This is because we believe that all guests are responsible and caring people and only onboard hosts who share this attitude.
For longer stays, the host decides whether or not to require a deposit.
Utilities and internet
All utilities and internet are at Flatio always included. You don't pay any hidden fees.
Service fee
This one-time fee helps to cover our operational costs. Thanks to the service fee, we can provide you with verified listings, StayProtection coverage, reliable customer support, and much more.

With Flatio, you won’t have to pay anything until the host accepts your booking request and you decide to sign the lease agreement. So go ahead and make the booking request – it’s free!
Proportional rent
You are paying for the equivalent amount of days which were spent from a whole month (month = 30 days)
Alternative Accommodation
In the event that you move in and the rented accommodation doesn't match the information on Flatio, let us know as soon as possible!
If the conditions for the withdrawal are met and the host can't fix the issue immediately, you have the option to withdraw from the lease agreement with a full refund. We'll also actively help you find an alternative accommodation and remain by your side until everything is fully resolved.

Cancelation Policy
Strict (30-days)
Rent
If you cancel your booking 30 days or more before the move-in date, you’ll get a refund of the entire first rent.
If you cancel your booking up to 14 days before the move-in date, you’ll get a refund of half of the first rent.
If you cancel your booking less than 13 days before the move-in date, you won’t get a refund of the first rent.
Service fee
The service fee is always refundable.
If you send a message to Flatio's Support Team requesting cancelation of the booking ("termination from the start date") within 48 hours after the lease agreement becomes valid, you're entitled to get back all the money you paid for the service fee.
After 48 hours, you're entitled to a refund of the service fee in the form of a "voucher" equal to the amount of the service fee you paid. The voucher can be used for your next booking and is valid for 12 months. If the service fee for your next booking is lower than the voucher amount, we'll issue you a new voucher for the remaining amount, valid for 12 months.
