This amazing villa is beautifully designed for sunny family holidays and friends who prefer that extra touch of quality, space and location.

The villa is perfectly located. It is set in the middle of a stunning national reserve that provides endless hiking and running trails through pine forests and along clifftops overlooking pristine beaches. The villa is within walking distance of cafes, bars, restaurants, and supermarkets. There are multiple world-class beaches nearby that are perfect for surfing and sunbathing. Within a short drive (15 minutes) you have access to the historic town and castle of Aljezur and slightly further away (35 minutes) you have the historic town of Lagos that is on the water and full of shopping, restaurants, and has a beautiful historic old town. This villa captures the very best that the western Algarve has to offer.

Detail about the villa’s space

The villa offers exceptional indoor and outdoor living space allowing you to take full advantage of the beautiful sunshine and warmth of the Algarve.

The large entrance hall takes one through to the dining area, raised, in a split-level fashion, two steps above the lounge at the heart of the villa, which benefits from wide, bi-folding French doors giving access to the pool terrace and outdoor dining and cooking space. The lounge area has an open fireplace for log-burning in the winter evenings and provides a large space for family living and entertaining.

This south-facing terrace, which has some sea views, is open to the sun throughout the day and evening and is protected, when required, with sunshade fitted above the French windows.
A door off the entrance hall to one side of this living area leads to a further three good-sized bedrooms with fitted wardrobes, situated around a family bathroom with his-and-her sinks and a whirlpool bath with shower attachment.

Across the opposite side of the lounge is the entrance to the second pair of bedrooms, including the master suite where the large en-suite bathroom has a shower cubicle and his-and-her sinks. The French doors to the master bedroom open up onto decking, ideal for that early-morning coffee and croissants. These two bedrooms once again with fully-fitted wardrobes have situated on either side of a shower room with a toilet.

A further door off the living area leads to a very generously proportioned dining kitchen with a laundry room/utility to one side, containing a washer and dryer. The kitchen itself has all the luxuries you would expect from an outstanding villa such as a dishwasher, a superb gas range cooker with five hobs, microwave, etc. and a kitchen island that inevitably everyone gathers around to help prepare food, have a drink, and chat.

Another door to the rear of the kitchen takes one through to a further hallway with an extra w/c and shower room and a separate boiler room. Beyond that is a door giving access to the large integral garage at the extreme rear of the house, which, like the front access gates to the property.

The swimming pool itself is surrounded by both terracing and well-kept lawns benefitting from an irrigation system that also services the grassed areas in other parts of the grounds. All elements of the grounds are serviced regularly to ensure you have a beautiful and relaxing experience at the villa.

To one side of the pool is a large barbecue area covered by a high pitched solid English oak-beamed roof, with terracotta tiling and stonework surfaces. with adjoining exterior shower with hot water. This space, ideal for entertaining or al fresco dining for the family, has a traditional Portuguese barbecue (wood or charcoal), an additional gas hob, a bread/pizza oven, sink and storage space including an area for storing logs to fuel the built-in fireplace for cooler evenings.

A long, curving driveway, which can accommodate a number of vehicles leads to the integral garage to the rear of the property. Here, a series of raised terraces have been skillfully designed to incorporate a clothes-drying area, lawn and flower beds.

## Neighborhood

Our sunny villa is in a small village called Vale de Telha and is in the middle of the Costa Vicentina nature reserve. The villa is close to all the essential amenities you need and amazing beaches offering you a quiet, private space without being in the middle of nowhere.
The property itself is close to the central hub of the peaceful locale of Vale da Telha, this beautiful villa is within a short walking distance of two popular restaurants/bars, a café bar and a small, well-equipped supermarket. All of this is within a five to ten-minute walk from the villa. It is very popular amongst families, nature lovers and surfers alike. A selection of restaurants & bars and a small supermarket are there for your day to day comforts.
The larger and historic Aljezur is only a 15-minute drive away and has everything you need. The town is located right in the middle between famous surf beach Arrifana and the less well known but perhaps even prettier Monte Clerigo beach. Other beaches like Amoreira, Amado, and Odeceixe are just a short drive away. Whether you want to relax, go for a surf, or enjoy an amazing hike or run in the nature reserve, Vale de Telha is the place to be. And if you do crave city life at some point, the city of Lagos is only 35 minutes away.

## Transit

Faro Airport is the closest airport and it takes you about 75 minutes by car to get to Vale de Telha. If you fly into Lisbon, it is about a 3.5-hour drive through southern Portugal’s beautiful landscape. If you want to explore the area, a car is recommended as public transport is only available to Aljezur town but not up to Vale da Telha. Parking is free and abundant everywhere in this area.

How can I cancel my booking?

How you can cancel a booking varies depending on what stage the booking is in.
