This spacious double room themed around Art is perfect to feel like if you were at home in the heart of Italy. The comfy double bed is perfect to get a good rest and you’ll enjoy your private bathroom with shower.

Inside the room, you find all you need to settle and feel at home: wardrobe, sofa, table and chairs to work in peace, TV, mini fridge and even a thematic library on Art to deepen your interests! Bonus? The private terrace offers breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside and the Sila.

Saturdays and Sundays for lunch, let yourself be seduced by the delicious Calabrian dishes cooked and revisited by the owner Roberto with products from the garden. You won’t be disappointed!

Flora and fauna
Calabria is still an unspoilt region with uncontaminated land. It has mountains, three national parks (Aspromonte, Pollino, and Sila), 500 miles of coastline, turquoise waters, and rolling, green hills lined with olive, orange, and lemon trees. 90% of the area is mountainous, so there is no wonder that you can find some incredible flora and fauna, especially in three of its most beautiful Protected National Parks, the Aspromonte, Sila and Pollino. There are well marked trails which lead you deep into the forests and woodland where you may be lucky to see some interesting wildlife such as red deer, roe deer, wolves, squirrels, the Corsican hare, owls and Peregrine falcons.

There are 40 bird species and 5 different types of owls as well as the Peregrine falcons. Some of these birds include: raptors, buzzards, eagles and storks which you can see in the Aspromonte park close to Reggio Calabria. Spring and Autumn is a good time to see the flamingos in the wetland of Saline Joniche.

Social ecosystem
Any wish can be fulfilled in Calabria. Those who love nature, its scents and mysteries, can explore the Calabrian hinterland, discovering pure and unpolluted sceneries, where huge green belts alternate with blue lakes and waterfalls. On the other hand those who prefer to learn about the region's past, Calabria, the cradle of Magna Graecia and land of ancient settlements, is full of splendid churches, monasteries, castles, palaces and towns where age-old traditions still survive.

The property is located in the short distance from the historic center of Montalto Uffugo - a Calabrian village. You can find there another coworking place run by accommodation.

Other cities worth visiting are Cosenza (around 28 km away) and Diamante (around 75 km away). In Amantea, located around (around 60 km/ 1h drive away), there's a hub of digital nomads interested in architecture.

- by car: around 1,5h
- by bus: Romano or Flixbus
- by train: Trenitalia - from Lumezia Terme to Cosenza, then take a bus (Ferrovie della Calabria) to Montalto Uffugo
- with a shuttle organised by accommodation: 1 person = 50€, 2 people = 32€/pp
